how to fix chip tooth like the picture?
anybody can share their experience

-on how much will it cost?
-can gomen dental clinic do it? or
-can suggest which private dental clinic better?

seem somehow , to fix the tooth (to become normal , no more chip), is not straight away fix / tampal
need to treatment first etc etc

my initial checking one of the private dental clinic is around Rm3k ~ Rm4k to fix it (including root treatment etc)

want to find somewhere cheaper
if any

There's no fixing a chip like that. What they do is file the teeth down and replace it with a crown.

i had a chipped tooth like this long time ago.

they filled the tooth, RM50. Private clinic in Ampang. Closed down/ changed location, forgot.

Still works ok.

Aesthetic filling ; using composite material usually. RM200 . tho' i unsure why yours require root canal

I had exactly same issue after a bike accident in my teens . Finally got it fixed more than 10 years ago, price should be less than rm200 . However, dentist told me not to bite hard with the fixed tooth. Still working well until today, despite some stain and light cracklines.

If no pain then root canal should not be necessarily.

did mine rm 90 4-5 years ago but not as bad as the image mine minor chip

Simple filling will do, max rm200. Seems like you have some gum issues

Thought other way round, if no pain means root is dead and need canal to prevent it from infection or rotting

I did mine as well, I recalled not that costly of a few thousands.

Just like other forumers said should be less than RM100 or less than RM200.

Mine is not as bad as the one on picture though.

To fix depend on the severity of it. If the chip/fracture involves the pulp tissue then might need root canal + crowning.

Else a normal filling would do, bt like someone posted above purely for aesthetics.

Also the sooner u do it the better. Get it checked first.
