Some places that have nice generic wall art:
• Ruma (https://ruma-home.com/) • Harvey Norman (https://www.harveynorman.com.my/homeware/art-work/)
Gallaries I've been to that has actual art pieces that may or may not be cheap, but definitely unique:
• Younie Art Gallery (https://www.youniegallery.com/e-gallery) • Artfordable (https://instagram.com/artfordablegallery?igshid=NjIwNzIyMDk2Mg==) • Tham Siew Inn (https://thamsiewinn.com/shop/) <- the original works expensive, but got good quality art prints managed by the artist and his family

How about one of those weekend flea market places? I always see there are posters for sale, along with other things that may look interesting to be hung on walls (songket, carvings, kites, etc for example)

When I moved to my new place, the walls were bare, and like you, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on decorations. I love to paint in my free time, so when my friends suggested I could print my artwork, I thought it was a great idea. I found this cool custom art printing service that was affordable. They took my paintings and scanned them to make sure the prints would look sharp and clear, not fuzzy. Then, they fixed up the colors to make sure everything popped just right and let me pick what kind of paper or canvas I wanted. They even used special ink that won't all fade, which is awesome. After they printed my art, they checked each piece to make sure it was perfect. Going with this service was awesome because I got to hang up my art all over my house without spending a lot of money.
