I'm thinking of switching to Astro Broadband 500mb line.
I have Synology nas that requires port forwarding. Astro Broadband provides astro RG21 router so my questions is that is the router allow me to configure the port forwarding or os it locked behind some admin access only?
Can I use my own Asus router instead of the astro RG21?
Do Astro provide fixed public ip or dynamic public ip?

Do Astro provide fixed public ip or dynamic public ip? almost crap RG21 router wont work port forward you own asus router powerful but not sure can use own asus router connect PPPoE we unable details i don't use astro fibre i know bad i still use unifi 500mbps public ip i own asus router can be set port forward works fine |

My concern is that I'm unsure if Astro has an option for Public IP or not
Without that, regardless of which router you use, you can't port forward
|
