I'm doing a house warming party for my close family members, going to rent the event hall and call a cathering service over

But got no ideas what and who to look out for since is my first time organising this

Any recommendation? Prefer chinese cuisine with a mix of western

Many years ago I used this caterer called big onion caterer. They will come over to meet you and discuss your requirements then give quotation

depends how grand is the hall you want,
F&B alone - RM 1K+ for 20 Pax is decent enough

if you want proper buffet style i dont think they do for 20pax

i remember last time i do house warming kat penang ..minimum 50pax ..else extra surcharge

about 3k+ including deco + CKT

i ordered this like mid of 2022.. you can have a quick comparison with your KL price

Have to start with budget...bigger the budget, the more grand you can organise, more people can invite, more exposure (if you are going to show off in social media)

I not planning to do very grand. Just catering with maybe 5 - 6 dishes and for around 20 - 30 pax

I got no idea about budget honestly. But based on the link shared above, I guess min around RM30 per pax? So I'm looking at RM600+
