Hi, I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 13 after September in conjunction with the release of iPhone 15. Since I have never own an iPhone or follow up on its news, I wanna ask all sifus here is it better to buy it after the release of iPhone 15? I read many topics regarding this saying usually the price drop significantly after a new version comes out. Just want to know whether to buy now (already got discount at Machines) or wait till after IPhone 15 comes out (will it drop lower, more gifts or?) Any sharing is greatly appreciated. skylinelover, RT8081, and 1 other liked this post

Depends.
Let's exclude the possibility that you are not those who want to buy iPhone just for the berlagak. If you are new user and no budget constrain, maybe directly buy the latest one and use it for 5 years. If you are new user and got budget constrain, you can buy old gen and use it for 5 years. Your strategy applies here. I think is a good choice. If you are old iPhone user with budget constrain, use the phone up to 5 years only change to the latest. If you are old iPhone user with no budget constrain, aiya I think you are not. Because this will not be a question at all. |

QUOTE(e_mc_square @ Aug 7 2023, 03:16 PM) Depends. Not for berlagak but want to have a phone that is actually durable. My previous XiaoMi Poco F3 spoilt in just over a year... This time ngamngam September can try iPhone old version cos I heard iPhone 13 is pretty good and overall iPhone can last quite long. My wife using iPhone. Don't believe the 6 years shit. Your phone will started to lag, glitched, crashed, slow in like 4th years despite they give such long term software support. You can search the web. 2023 - 4 = 2019. So is iPhone 11. You Google it and limit the date with this year. You will find a number of people struggle with iPhone 11. Some user can take it, some user cannot. Apple product is very durable. But can use or not is another story. Because it is related with the software also. I have a 1st gen iPad mini still "operatable" but not "useable" coz it lag like shit even format it. I make it a desk clock only. iPhone 13 released at 2021. So, do the math I think you get the idea |

While I agree that iPhone may be more durable than Android, don't judge Android based on MIUI.

good idea, but normally need to wait for few months (around 11.11) for the big offer to come. Normally price will still be quite solid for a while even after new iphones come out. Anyway I would suggest iphone 14 for the 6gb ram, if price is not too much difference Kinggnik87 liked this post

Whenever there’s a new iPhone release, the iPhone version before sure drop price. So if you’re not rushing then just wait it out till end Sept. U don’t even need to wait for IP15 to be in stock in MY, cuz the price drop will immediately follow after the launch. U can expect about RM300-500 discount from current pricing. Agree. I'm not in a hurry so I wanna make sure to get the most out of my Ringgit.
But now I got a new idea, considering the rumor on IP15 got so many changes (hence the even more expected drop for the previous versions), I'm thinking of getting the lowest spec which is the IP15 and use it for many years. I will need to know what is the price for that though. |
