May I know what are the differences between normal APM absorbers compare with the APM Performax?

I am planning to change to APM Performax but I am looking into comfort rather than stiffness. The springs I am going to use the normal APM coil springs.

So with APM Performax with APM standard coil springs a good combination for comfort?

So you suggest to get both normal APM standard absorbers and APM standard springs?

Gas shock usually refer to monotube shock absorber (due to pressurized gas 2-3x of atmospheric pressure used in the chamber), he basically suggest you to get a good branded coilover set. LOL

Although most normal econobox car stock stock is twintube, whereas monoshock is more common on aftermarket. Both monotube/twintube can be good, we have good coilover set with twintube as well.

KW V3 is one of them.

You want comfort, remain original springs set up and go for Yakaba Excel G or normal APM absorbers. Performax is sporty type, which is more harsher for better cornering/high speed purpose.

Thank you so much for all the replies here.

Based on what littlefire said, I better use normal absorbers.

I am currently using adjustable absorbers with the springs included in the adjustable absorbers. It is GAB brand. I adjusted it lower, then later I adjust higher to accommodate the road but now it has totally worn out and I am looking for comfort ride.

So I am looking at the normal APM absorbers. I have discarded the original stock springs, so now I have to buy the normal springs from APM as well.

Lol. In my world those are called "shock".

If someone specifically say "gas shock", it automatically refer to monotube.
