Hi all, want to ask has anyone changed their built-in wardrobe design before? If so, how do you go about it?

Did you repaint over the existing "skin"? Or you removed the old skin and change new one? Would like to do it to a subsale house as removing the whole wardrobe and rebuilding new one seems like a waste.
