Typically the choices if there are little to no damage/wear:

1) Repaint (need to sand down the layer a bit + put high-adhesion primer before painting, otherwise the paint will chip off easily)
2) Vinyl wrap (no need to sand/prime, but usually recommend to sand a bit to ensure sticker works properly, need to math a bit to calculate length of vinyl needed)

If the laminate already chipped and peeling, can reglue (if only slight peeling) and then consider repaint/rewrap, or remove and reapply a new laminate (if got major peeling and/or chipped off).

If you're lucky to have a solid wood/plywood wardrobe, usually resand and refinish with a different wood stain if you really want to get an updated look, but usually no reason to do so if the wood is still good quality.

Personally for me I DIY Ikea type laminate with vinyl wrap.
