I rarely use my headphones with phone. yesterday when I connect to phone got update notification for 2.0.2 update (25 July 2023).

Anyone updated to this version? Is it a good update? Im currently on 1.1.3

Sony updates are very stable and never cause any issues to your devices. It’s recommended to update for the improvements and bug fixes.

My previous experience with xm4 updates said otherwise. Never trust sony headphones updates.

Gimped anc. At first it thought it was just me. But then people start talking the same all over the internet and reddit.

Not sure. Once I realize it had something to do with firmware update and there no way going back, it gets very infuriating to use and I can't keep my mind out of it. Sold that pair soon after.
