Hello guys For those who use Logitech mouse models (or similar) which have "rubber like" coating and which start to have scratches or peeling after a few years: 1.Have you tried to repair/replace the coating yoursefl? 2.If yes, what product did you use and what were the results? Would the rubber used on badminton/tennis racquets or hockey sticks work? From my online search: *Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/commen...h_m720_started/ which recommended this brand (https://www.lizardskins.com/mouse-grip) *Youtube: found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66gC1i2JYOE...channel=TymptraPlease help, I want to try and repair this coating as it seems a waste to replace a good working mouse just because of the outer coating. Also this repair makes sense if the cost of coating purchase is not excessive (say max RM100).

No one knows those coating is actually plastidip@rubberized spray paint? You could buy the cheaper version at Mr DIY. Aeropak rubberized paint. The 1st hurdle is to remove all the old coating before applying the new one. You could either sand paper the old coating off or use solvent like spirits of thinners to remove it. But i choose sand paper as it is more safer. Chemicals have fumes.

the grippiest thing that nothing adheres to and lasts forever is silicon sheet.
bind that to plastic with silicon sealant. cure time 36-48 hrs. sandpaper the plastic.
everything else gets shrekt by sweat and/or sheds
