Before COVID I did a lot of research on FUE hair transplant and narrowed down my choices to Thailand and Turkey. All other places like Singapore and Malaysia are either too expensive or lack of experience. Made up my mind to undergo hair transplant in Turkey at first. Even decided on which clinic already but borders were shut so plan was shelved. Back then thinking of going there as medical tourist and do some sight seeing first in Istanbul and Cappadocia before the procedure
This year I research again the available medical facilities locally and to my surprise the prices now are very competitive, even matching the price in Turkey and Thailand. Many used to charge by per graft but some are throwing in promo by locking down a price and you'll get maximum number of grafts! So I consulted a few clinics in KL and decided to go with one which I had the most confidence - A surgeon that is skilled and experienced because this is the no. 1 factor in a successful surgery.
It's been 3 weeks post my surgery, I'm happy with my hair result so far and eager to share my experience here

Why not go bald?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
I don't have the right head shape. Besides that it doesn't project a professional image in my profession. Contrary to what many Western articles are saying, Asian women actually find balding man very unattractive...Anyway hair transplant is a one-off process in my lifetime so I treat it as investment.
Will hair transplant last forever?
