Sorry if this is not the place to ask, feel free to move this thread if needed.

Has anyone experience clogged toilet in high rise condo? Apparently I have tried calling the plumber a few times and they seem to can't fix it. They tried many methods and eventually resort to using a mop to push/clean the toilet pipe. It works for a day or two and it came back.

I suspect is the air vent/pressure problem. Any sifus here know any suggestion or can share personal experience on handling this? We have been bugged by this problem for many weeks, hope can listen to some suggestions.

Try to call the maintenance team from the apartment's management office to troubleshoot. It is better to get their people and not external people, so that there is record of inspection, and "warranty".

Thanks! It actually makes sense. I have informed the management team and see how it goes. Hope it works out well.

The plumber unfortunately didn't do this last time. But we will ask him again soon.

Thanks for the input, guys. We have got the management team attention and they will send a team to inspect and see how it goes.

Hopefully we can find the root of the problem and get it fixed. And hopefully it is free too biggrin.gif

Update:

The management team has found the problem to be the clogged pipe which requires us to fix it at the unit below. Now we are trying to arrange to fix it.

Never knew staying in high-rise will have this problem

Has the issue been fixed yet?

Nope. Still coordinating with the previous plumber because it was still in warranty but the plumber company refused to give another free fix because their reason is they already gave 2 free fix. But it is still under warranty so now still in the middle of discussion with them.

If not, have to hire a new plumber.
