I'm going to save toll by exiting Ipoh selatan and come back in Ipoh utara. Going to Penang. Will do the same back to KL

Try to do an O, it means find a roundabout and keep circling around it

Depends lah, not always save much unless they're connected can route to other states short cut here and there, traffic here and there which to me is time consuming .

You saved nothing. I travels every day for work from Kuala Kangsar toll to Simpang Pulai toll (RM4.35). On the way back from work I sometime exit Ipoh Selatan and enter back at Ipoh Utara, no difference in toll rate (still RM4.35).

Route 1:
Enter Simpang Pulai Toll -> Exit Kuala Kangsar Toll = RM4.35

Route 2:
Enter Simpang Pulai Toll -> Exit Ipoh Selatan Toll = RM1.48
Enter Ipoh Utara Toll -> Exit Kuala Kangsar Toll = RM2.87
RM1.48 + RM2.87 = RM4.35 (Same!)

If you have no plan to stop at Ipoh, better continue heading north using highway.

U guys talk so much. Still ada lagi ke exit ipoh selatan and utara? Sign ipoh besar besar tu sebab banyak orang confuse lagi, nanti ingat ada ipoh utara dan miss then lepas tu keluar kuala kangsar

Last time from north need to exit Ipoh utara toll after the tunnel and travel free for some distance and masuk Ipoh selatan toll again

Due to banyak accident at the Ipoh utara toll where lorries lost control down hill after the tunnel and rammed multiple cars at the toll, the road was redesigned so u can go straight after the tunnel without need to wait at the toll

That free stretch of the road remained free

Ipoh selatan toll near tambun.

Ipoh utara toll near jelapang

But south bound cannot exit at Ipoh selatan, north bound cannot exit Ipoh utara

i do that, basically distance not that far (exclude ipoh to Kuala Kangsar, this one really far)

No need to enter highway la kalao nak Kira macam ni, use trunk road all the way to Ipoh lmao.

normally i exit bidor than all the way to ipoh than enter, reach kamunting exit again ...

actually maybe actually faster. the highway there has speed limit of 90km/h with frequent police hiding with camera while the road parallel to it you can go no limit

better exit as it's a nice straight highway with 90kmh limit and save rm2 of toll

If u exit toll
- Jalan Duta to Ipoh (S) = rm21.73
- Ipoh (U) to Juru = 13.78
Total = 35.51

If u don't exit toll
- Jalan Duta to Juru = 35.51.

Pity those Ipoh people. They don't use the toll but to enter only at the end need to pay like those using the stretch in the Plus Highway.
