Previously my wife owned a mazda 3, fuel efficient i must say good but you need to well maintained the car plus do all sorts of service on time, comfortable car, no problem with spare parts as the price reasonable for me πŸš—πŸš™πŸš—πŸš™

Mazda 2 is the most worse car in Mazda lineup, very small size and the 6AT gearbox is famous for repair after 100k warranty off. My factory got 2 Mazda 2 owner after warranty finish both also sent their gearbox out to repair/change half-cut gearboxΒ  doh.gif . Even Bobby from Aurinz also say better buy Perodua Myvi or Toyata Yaris.

Older ones yes.

Newer ones no longer have the rubber band problem. Eg the new Almera.

You are still looking? Not sure why you are asking me, but since you asked...

I wouldn't touch a more than 10 year old car.

Given your budget, I would go for a new Bezza or Saga.
*
Why wouldn't you buy a car that's more than 10 years old?

I prefer Japanese car brands over national car brands.

Especially toyota, very reliable car

But the rear seat of the Toyota Vios is too low for me.

I'm around 180 cm tall, and when I sat in the back before, there was only about 1 cm between my head and the ceiling.

I'm just worried about the ceiling height...

Are you also taller than 175cm?

Now I'm sitting in a Hyundai Avante 1.6L (A) hybrid Grab taxi.

The ceiling height is just right for me, and the legroom is also comfortable.

It seems like South Korean car manufacturers design their cars with more space, possibly because the average height in South Korea is taller compared to Japan.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll have to book taxis only from this company...

Poor thing, no Honda cars...

I still prefer Japanese cars over South Korean ones.

Updated 15 April: Today, I booked a taxi from Comfort company. It was a
Volvo S60.

Updated 16 April: Today, I booked a taxi from Comfort company. It was a
TOYOTA / PRIUS 5DR HATCHBACK (AUTO).

Maybe because it was too early in the morning, there were no Hyundai i40s available, haha.

I hope I can drive a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or a Lexus or Toyota Vellfire at least 3 days a week, starting tomorrow......
