China now got rumors that Thailand has organ harvesting syndicates. That's why fewer tourists go there.
Another reason is China's economy is not good.
Meanwhile, I guess many Malaysians go to Hatyai for 1 or 2 nights stay only.

Fuh, Thailand got organ rumour.
Yes, I read PRC economy slower.
+1 Thanks

School break... even the smaller border crossing at Wang Kelian oso jam. πŸ˜…

---+---+---
Thai border congested with vacationing M’sians

THE Customs complex at the Malaysian-Thai border in Padang Besar, Perlis, is seeing major congestion amid the school holidays that just started.

Utusan Malaysia reported that people have been queuing up at the Wang Kelian Immigration, Customs and Quarantine (ICQ) complex as early as 8am.

A visitor from Kedah, Mohd Shaiful Abd Rahim, said he had to cancel his family trip to Thailand due to the massive number of people.

β€œMy family decided to cancel the plan and will probably choose another destination,” the 42-year-old said.

Siti Suhana Yusof, 39, from Perak said her family was stuck in traffic jams for hours.

β€œWe thought the Wang Kelian entry point should be easier because (we thought) there would be fewer vehicles, but not this time,” she said.
