As per title,anyone travel from setia alam to jalan tun razak,in working days,communite time how long,which route is the fastest if travel at 6.30am,back on 5.30pm,toll fees,appreciate ur sharing,tq

if not mistaken toll rate is around RM3.16 per way. so both way will be around RM6.32.
go out by 630am i think still managable.
but back by 530pm mati wei....jam giler..!!

.....you know this 2023 right got Waze and Google Maps? Waze can tell you toll prices and you can set around what time and when they will give you agak time based on historical.

If 5pm balik will be better?tq

Travel from 630am will take around 1 hour plus. Travel from 6am take around 35-40 mins

because of the school near the exit of setia alam, you may want to target to reach the start of the toll by 6:30am latest. earlier is better of course.
(based on experience prior to covid where the uphill slope right after setia alam gets packed even at 6:30am; traffic should be worse nowadays)

even if u come back at 5pm, reach ur setia alam house i guess 630pm at least...

To reach office by 8.30 suggest you to leave by 6.30 am

But to reach home by 5.30pm, my friend i think even god cant help you unless your office hour ends at 3.30pm and you beat the rush hour


Setia alam cheap house but at a price to pay with your tolls and time stuck in the jam which to me is priceless

Will take about 50-60mins using federal highway on normal days without any special circumstances like accident or car breakdowns. Doesnt apply to Friday traffic which is very unpredictable.

Every single day I will exit Setia Alam toll and enter NKVE highway

My advice is you have to be around Setia Alam toll by 6.30am. If you arrive later than that, you have to face the heavy jam.

Since you work at Jalan Tun Razak, why not just rent nearby there?

It's really far to be honest.

Last time I work at Bukit Damansara, considered border of KL also feels really far travel from Bukit Damansara to Setia Alam.

Nowadays DASH also take 1.5 hours minimum, and to reach in 1.5 hours you'd also need Penchala Link.

Just setia alam to the entrance of dash already takes at least 40min due to the jam around alam budiman

I leave 6.30am, reach KL at 8.15am++. But again, my office is at KL Sentral.
NKVE is pretty Fuxx up . Worst traffic built up and jam after Jln Duta toll.

i lived setia alam, what i do, since my office got flexible hour.. i leave at 9am (still jam but less) and reach ofice about 9.30 to 9.50 then i leave work late rought around 8pm... during that time i spend my time at the gym nearby....6,30 to 8ish pm.. anyway not for everyone

how about south bound direction ? both also jam ?

got a job offer near jelutong , not sure to take or not im from KL scare cannot pick up children from nursery on time

The further u stay, the longer the travel.

For example, myself now at Rimbayu. Everyday is like 1.5 hours to KL via NKVE or 50 mins via MEX.

If reach before 5.30 pm, need to leave KL by 4 pm latest. Any longer, the jam will build up.

During the puasa month, going to KL is smooth and fast but coming back took over 2 hours because everyone rushing back.

Change to a nursery near the work place.

how about the opposite road, morning KL to jelutong with DASH or NKVE, then 5pm from jelutong to KL

DASH is certainly faster but to get to DASH is the problem.

vice versa around 30 ringgit??????

I suggest u move closer, save u a lot of time, money and mental health.
