Just want to know, what is the season in HK during April-May? And how is the price of clothings at that period? Tot can grab some cheap clothes and shoes due to there is a changing season. Am i rite? 

for those who are travelling from Macau to HK using Ferry... better choose TurboJet as its faster and more stable then NWF..

im regret that i took NWF on my last trip in July '07; becoz i wanna get down from Kowloon and goto the hotel in Mongkok, its the only choice... the ferry is slow(compare to Turbojet), age older, and not that stable when the wave is higher.... u'll get dizzy....

i heard from my HK friend, they usually compare them as Public Bus(NWF) and Executive Coach(TurboJet).

for those who would like to stay in Mongkok, can try MetroPark Hotel Kowloon in Waterloo Road (窝打老道). its room is as spacious as our Hotel room in KL. the room is big enough to put 2 single bed + 1 extra bed + 2 small sofa and plenty of space to walk around with your luggage putting on floor.. its a 3 star hotel, and very near to "woman street", just 10~15min walks.

I like stay in New Territories side...much quite and much more fresh air....But going to HK island will far away..i take MRT also need 30 minute...Hotel Room at New Territories will be Bigger and cheaper

hi joce, I'm not sure about Aug sale now 'coz economy this year is good, so shops might delay and shorten the sale period. But there are still opportunities for some sale due to Beijing Olympic.

Yep, hotel rate is expected to be very high and rooms are critical also due to Beijing Olympic. Please book your accomodation asap..

Yep it's flu season now in South China areas including HK & Macau, but if you've done preparation then it'd be ok. My advices are, wash your hands with soap more often, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth before you wash your hands with soap, drink more water & have enough sleep to strength your immunity, stay away from coughing people if possible especially in crowded places. If you still scared, have flu vaccine 1 week before your trip.

Those kids died from flu related illness were infected with H1 virus, not H3 nor H5, as per local news. Also, the virus seems to attack young kids rather than healthy adults in this season.

Sep is still very long time from now, and flu mainly happens in Spring, ie. March - April. If HK have flu season throughout the whole year I think 7millions HK ppl will soon be extinct..

You can ask AirAsia which transfer company they use for your airport transfer. If it's operated by Vigor, they have counters in both arrival hall A & B, it's just located right in front when you walk out to the arrival hall.
AirAsia advertise their direct flights to KL in HK too. The fare is HKD99 per head but I heard the taxes & surcharges added up to HKD7xx already.
Yes it's still very hot & humid in Sep. This year may have more typhoon then usual 'coz of the special climate this year. Watch out for typhoon news before your departure.
Jul not yet started crazy sale. Even if there is any sale, the discount rate will not be very high.

About the weather, not sure if it will be very cold or just cool or warm 'coz temperature fluctuate a lot in this year's winter. Like last year FEB, we had a long freezing FEB with cold weather alert was issued by HK Observatory for 24 consecutive days! Suggest you to check the weather forecast 5 days before your departure.

Would still be some sale in Feb 'coz it's end of the season, shops will want to clear up all the this year's Winter stock and preparing for the new Spring/Summer arrival! Good luck~
