for those who are travelling from Macau to HK using Ferry... better choose TurboJet as its faster and more stable then NWF..

im regret that i took NWF on my last trip in July '07; becoz i wanna get down from Kowloon and goto the hotel in Mongkok, its the only choice... the ferry is slow(compare to Turbojet), age older, and not that stable when the wave is higher.... u'll get dizzy....

i heard from my HK friend, they usually compare them as Public Bus(NWF) and Executive Coach(TurboJet).

for those who would like to stay in Mongkok, can try MetroPark Hotel Kowloon in Waterloo Road (窝打老道). its room is as spacious as our Hotel room in KL. the room is big enough to put 2 single bed + 1 extra bed + 2 small sofa and plenty of space to walk around with your luggage putting on floor.. its a 3 star hotel, and very near to "woman street", just 10~15min walks.

First of all, i would like to thanks Northasia for all the information provided. I've gone through this whole thread for an hour and i learnt a lot of stuff from everyone in this thread.

Our Plan
Me and my colleagues (20ppl) are planning a trip to Kong Kong, 4 Days and 3 Nights trip. Going by Air Asia arrive on Macau, then spend a day for visiting Churches and Casinos. Second day will be heading to Hong Kong for the rest.

Northasia,

May i know when will the Summer Shopping Season begin this year? I only found that it'll be starting from end of June to August last year. We're still havent confirm when should we go.
Thanks in Advanced.

Metropark hotels are ok ar, some airlines use them as layover hotel for stopover passengers too, but there would be a lot of China Mainlanders in the hotel which is quite annoying lor..
well, i dont mind that as im not in the hotel most of the time.. hahaha
all i need is a nice room for me to rest after a crazy shopping and site seeing.. tongue.gif laugh.gif

I dun think AirAsia can fly to HK international Airport...The Airport Fees is too high for those low cost Carrier

sure they will land on HKIA, just the matter of the schedule... all i can guess is, most of the flight schedule will be in off-peak hour, is either early morning or late nite...
