yea same here....talk only can't read or write. i've had many tough times when dining cos almost all the char chan teng's menu r in chinese. they think it's pretty weird when someone who can speak can't read and has to ask them what they hv....n they'd b like "Can't you read the menu?" haha.
yea it's so packed n crowded here. but i kinda like the work ethics here...i think the customer service here is way better than msia, more polite n nice  tongue.gif

When I travel I used to leave my luggage to the hotel I stayed after I checked out. Macau is not very big, take taxi/minibus going back to take your luggage will not spend you too much time...

QUOTE(nutella @ Jan 19 2008, 08:05 AM)
Im in dilemma choosing a place to stay too.

Ah Shan (DragonInn) and DragonHostel are located in the same building, room plans quite similar, so i guess the "quality" should be around the same. In fact, if its not bcoz of the cost (Ah Shan is a little more ex than DragonHostel and HK Budget Hostel), i'd have chosen Ah Shan.

I checked out Kingwah too - but i don't really like the location (and the environment).

If u're staying in Ah Shan, pleaseee share with me the experience when u're back, heh smile.gif

QUOTE(northasian @ Mar 8 2008, 01:40 PM)
Electronic stuff depends la.. as advised by some forumers before, some Japanese brands' electrical appliances are manufactured in Malaysia, so prices would be cheaper in M'sia. Therefore you better check the price of items you wanna buy locally, then compare the price sold in HK when you're here.

Sunglasses.. hmm.. don't know the difference 'coz I never buy sunglasses in M'sia. But one thing for sure is ALOOK in HK is cheaper than in M'sia. It's funny to see ALOOK M'sia advertise themselves as brand from HK, but ALOOK HK advertise themselves as brand from Japan.
Mongkok.

There is no Coffee Bean branches in HK. We only got Starbucks and Pacific Coffee, both provide Wifi. HK Mcdonalds also provide Wifi for 20mins usage. Other than that, the whole HKIA provides free Wifi, and some shopping malls also provide but I don't know which one.

dont forget to mention mc cafe malaysia dont have
