No, I doubt the BMW has the pace for the full race. For me it's either Massa or Lewis if the can keep the pace of the macca up all through the race tomorrow. But Massa is the best placed to win

More likely that both Massa and Heikki will overtake him. With no traction control now, it's up to the drivers and both Maccas and the Ferraris have better start traction. Heikki and Lewis who comes from the tractionless GP2 also seems to have better traction control. remember that Robert lost the pole because he ran wide at a place where traction control should have kicked in

Depends. some of the old dogs like Webbo and DC comes from the age of no traction control. The new guns comes from Formula Renault and/or GP2 where there is no traction controls. The ones that are in trouble are the ones in between, and apart from robert and bourdais (champ car has traction control) I don't doubt their racing abilities

QUOTE(verx @ Mar 17 2008, 01:15 PM)
Sorry to burst your bubble but VW has said time and again that they aren't interested in joining F1.
*

Why bother actually when you won't be guarenteed of success. Take one look at Toyota and many car companies shy away from F1. Heck, even the british company Prodrive (they are teh ones that mod street car to be race legal, think of Aston Martin DB9 in the LeMans series) was not given the green light to join altho they signed a contract already with Bernie Mac tends to shy away potential teams.

As did Alonso...

Hamilton did it in Brazil last year...cost him his 1st Championship.Heikki did it last week.

Let see if there's a third time.
*

Bullshit rumours. The team and he himself clarified the engine died and he did not in any circumstances hit the pit lane limiter during the race in Brazil. The fact that the car nearly stopped was a dead give away that it was engine related

Considering that the report for Kimi was "out of fuel" when he was already crawling for 2 laps, it's not that suprising. And besides, Mika once lost 3 gears at the start of the 1999 Brazil GP before it comes back and he won the race.

QUOTE(kerollowyat @ Mar 18 2008, 01:43 PM)
I think mclaren will "quite" easily win both title this season
Hamilton going to win the driver championship. It's far too early to tell, yet, judging by the performance of the car and hamilton, it could happen.

Though, i would like to see other teams especially bmw win more. Now, i see more competitive race. That's very good.

anyone knows, what's the cheapest ticket price for Singapore GP. want to see F1 in action at night.  biggrin.gif
*

From what I hear, Singapore GP cost about 3 times the price here. Malaysia is the cheapest and followed by China. European legs are so expensive that even european themselves have to pay up to 3 months pay to get 1 Grandstand ticket. Thus if anyone win a Grandstand ticket for a race in europe, please bear in mind that the ticket cost more than the averange malaysian earns in a year.

Depends. The drivers are still b****ing about how the car is a handful, and everyone else was saying that they were lucky to find a balanced setup in Australia. On another note, I don't see Nick or Robert in KLCC yet today T.T
