QUOTE(Hornet @ Oct 24 2007, 11:45 PM) at least it's guaranteed we'll have v8 for 10 years more yeah, at least we're not getting a more sissy sounding engine. i would say it's a good move of course v10 would be better but that's not going to happen....

imagine those workers of FIA who studied mclaren's new car, then secretively gave some tips to their friends in other teams. hAhahah. a compromise ? hell yeah. even daily verbal discussions could leak infos easily. i hope it wont happen. oh well, mclaren cant do shit about it anyway.

yeah, just look at how pathetic is toyota hAhAHahha you guys made ferrari seemed sooooo "innocent" as if they never spied they're just not caught, duh. mclaren adapted to bridgestone so quickly because, partly they're rich, good at tyres and of course the FREE information from stepney is also a factor.

without the stolen given technical data, they will still know cause stepney was singing.
the emails exchange, basically gives FIA the chance to penalize mclaren, no matter the content was from the given technical data or verbal tips from stepney/anywhere else or whether it's useful or not.
who the hell knows what kind of simulation, it might just be a computer simulation, like enter different values and see what's the result, which is useless most of the time, coz it's a simulation. but still those data were used, even though it's just a mere test. Every team does that, it's like when u receive a tip, do you sit there and scratch your head or you test it out first ?
bah... FIA is full of crap, both mclaren and renault should have been penalized after their 1st hearing.

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Dec 12 2007, 10:21 AM) Heard "rumor-rumor" that FIA is going to put a restriction to using standard brakes. Anybody can confirm this? I wonder what is going to be their next move, FIA. Ban on using adhesive stickers on the car?! im okay with standard brakes as long as the disc glows red under braking what's next ? hhmm .... ban rear view mirrors maybe, same suspension, same engine .... then they'll end up with same car and we'll be watching something else.... A1 maybe. oh ... nice one raikkonen

no wonder they decide to cease dev on those parts, don worry ferrari will be faster, mclaren wont have enough money to make their car faster hAhAHha. but of course it will be better than 2007, there are still so many things to improve, and not every team is like HONDA, lawak betul. ol man dennis ? got tired and retire maybe or die defending (imagine ur mum defending U, when shit happens, pretty common.) for the retiring part (imagine when ur mum realize how fvcked up u are and she decides to kill herself) heikki VS hamilton it would be interesting. now i could only hope that 2008 will not be like 2004.

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Jan 9 2008, 05:19 PM) LOL! i think you are the 1st person in the world claiming that! WRONG ! millions had claimed that, and they're all ferrari fans and newfags standardized ECU ? mclaren has an advantage by not needing to spend time and money on adapting to that ECU, full stop. you wont find any backdoors in ECU okay, it's not windows XP. and being standardized FIA would have known everything on how it works, so there wont be any funny tricks in it that will make merc engines act like "v10"s . It will only be an initial advantage. by now they should have fully adapted to it, else there wont be any engines that will work properly. and of course other teams will complaint, it's like being forced to wear somebody else's underwear.
