Nevermind that anymore....
Im getting tired of F1. Might not watch F1 again if Hamilton get the title.

Ppl were saying BMW gain advantage with the low temp thus allowing Kubica to overtook Alonso. How childish... too many idiots watching F1 now. Kubica is on 3 stops and lighter, not to mention fresh tyres for each stop. Thats the main reason. Besides proving them gaining advantage is just as hard as proving whether or not McLaren use Ferrari data.

im not sure about that .. u do visit formula1.com .. their team is under investigation .

You know how the British media are. You support a British football team tongue.gif

The teams go to the FIA all the time if they want something clarified. It's not new. But in general over the past few years you can't deny that the FIA's decisions have favoured Ferrari. wink.gif

I still found Michael's punishment at the Monaco Grand Prix to be bloody harsh. I think it was an innocent mistake. We have seen cars parked there over the years, haven't we? Just because it's Michael, the pre-judgment sets in. I still feel hard done by that decision. I too don't deny we have gotten some, if not many OUR way but I won't complain but just because we have had decisions going our way in the past doesn't mean you can even things out against us for the sake of maintaining "poetic justice."

I too doubt you can disagree that Lewis has gotten some decisions his way. Say what you want about Pit-gate but Lewis should have gotten his punishment by the McLaren team. How was another matter but so much for team-equality if you ask me. Alonso gets a place demotion whereas Lewis gets a slap on the wrist and that's the end of story for him? Then as for the Brazilian qualifying session, it'd be interesting to see what would happen if it were another driver? 5 place drop?

Every drivers have slip ups during the season. Both Kimi and Lewis had two DNFs and both had their lapses of concentration. Kimi had his in Bahrain and Monaco. Just so happen that Lewis had his late on in the season and Allen and Brundle said that Lewis was hard done by. Sad case. I held their opinion/commentary in high regard. Should have known better when they were over the moon when a Brit was on the podium in a bloody hopeless Honda. sad.gif

If McLaren WCC points still counted:

Ferrari 204
McLaren 184 (200 if Hungary[15] points were added. 203 if McLaren 1-2 in Hungary[18] tongue.gif )

No, if the penalties didn't stand, McLaren would have had 218 points. StarSports confirmed yesterday.

What are u on about? Evening out? Every team has the right to seek clarification from the FIA. The media can form their own opinions about it. But that doesn't mean that McLaren are seeking to even things out. And why mention Michael's incident? I could list another dozen incidents that favored Ferrari if that's the way u wanna go.

I don't disagree here. Lewis have had his fair share of decisions going his way but that pit issue has nothing to do with the FIA first and foremost. If u haven't realised, Alonso wasn't punished by the team either; it was the FIA that decided to punish him so i don't see how it helps your point.

I don't dispute how this season turned out and Kimi deserves his title because he got the most points at the end of the day. I agree that the British media have overreacted but u should know better how they are.

no mention of alonso next year's seat yet?

i think once alonso confirmed leaving, the media will have another field day stirring up controversy rgd what really happened behind the doors at mclaren. are all the mclaren pit crew caucasians? its always weird seeing LH's father as the only visible non-white in the garage tongue.gif

any chance of montoya returning to the grid next year? i miss his antics.

Nope. Mika was in South America to promote Safe Driving as part of Johhny Walker promotion worldwide like he did in KL. In fact he was in Mexico prior to Brazillian GP.

Get your facts right.

f1 without montoya - watching a train of cars from start to end for every race weekends

f1 with montoya - feels like 'reality TV" entertainment show smile.gif

Added on

another thing to ponder about - are manufacturers allowed to supply customer engine+chassis to other independent teams next year? will be interesting to sell the backmarkers joining in the midfield tussle.

Raikkonen title not quite his - yet.

Ferari's Finn to be kept waiting by McLaren appeal.

Kimi Raikkonen may have to wait a short while until his Formula One world title can be officially confirmed after McLaren announced that it would appeal against the decision not to penalise Williams and BMW Sauber for alleged fuel irregularities.

Raikkonen was confirmed as champion twice on Sunday, once in the initial results and again after the questionable fuel samples were checked and declared by the stewards not to contravene regulations 'enough' to warrant punishment. Both teams had been deemed to have fuel that was 'too cool', potentially providing a power boost.

However, perhaps fittingly in a season riddled with controversy and back-biting between the two leading teams, McLaren has announced that it would appeal the decision. Exclusion or demotion for Nico Rosberg, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld would promoteLewis Hamilton from his original seventh place, handing him the title.

1) My point was that that incident was the point at which the FIA have decided that they may have screwed some decisions in our favor and it was time to start screwing us instead to show that they aren't Ferrari-bias. As I have said, no need pointing decisions favoring us, I acknowledge it, most of it at least.

2) Alonso interfered with Hamilton's qualifying and he got his FIA penalty whereas Lewis interfered with Kimi's (which he admitted and apologized to Kimi) and he got away scott-free.

3) And regarding pit-gate, wasn't it Lewis who went against team orders? Alonso got his punishment, albeit from the FIA, what did Hamilton get? A big fat championship lead? I still don't buy the team equality that Dennis has been promoting for ages.

Raikkonen was being sarcastic. he's a Kimi fan for God's sake. Besides, if he were for Kimi, he would have been to the wrong garage. Mika still looks the same though. Nice to see him back.
