some interesting stories in the papers today.

- reminded of Alonso's request to not treat him like a double world champion earlier this year when he was in McLaren. But now going around saying his team didn't helped him enough...blamed management as well for not being organized.

- Lewis says his goal was to beat his double World Champion, and says he has done it. Well, I guess that's true as he has more 2nd place than Alonso.

- Finns stunned with Kimi's victory. One 29 year old consultant said he had to take his blood pressure with 20 laps to go

- Tag Heuer already putting up an ad to congratulate Kimi's drivers championship victory. Did anyone see the tatoo on his right arm?

the ad has Kimi's name all over it. Kimi watch, Kimi sunglasses & the watch looks exactly like one Alonso wears in his ad this year.

I wonder why you're only referring to 2...out of the 11 years he was with Ferrari Those 2 years, I guess you can blame the others for not keeping up with speed

and...Kimi only got higher total points than Michael in 2005. He didn't win the championship and it doesn't mean he beat Michael. Ferrari had a bad car for only 1 year, and you go say everyone has beaten him. That's not right man...remember, they can win the battle...but not the war.

blah1134 said Alonso and Kimi beat Michael. So I guess that was referring to the 2005 season. But even then...I really don't think Kimi actually beat Michael fair and square, coz Ferrari's car was really bad that year. We're comparing the drivers, not the cars. Such big difference between the two...I wouldn't even call it competition.

Not saying Michael is god and Kimi shouldn't beat him...I wanted to see him do it but unfortunately Kimi didn't really have the chance to beat him before his retirement. He came close in 2003 though.

I mean 1 year...between 1999 to 2006 - coz I started to watch in 1999 We don't have to go back to 1985 all over again rite? Let's just stick to the 20th Century

oh sorry, should be 21st century. Mistake. The car is not bad...when compared to the rest of the pack & when Michael is in the car. But it is bad when compared to Renault and McLaren that year. Plus, Barichello finished 8th - below Montoya, Fisichella, Ralf and Truli. Remember once Michael started 14th?

Rubens is so invisible in BAR Honda...even the Torro Roso driver is better promoted

other teams can always upgrade other parts of the car...engine power isn't the only difference between each and every team on the track isn't it?

Max could be saying that in a general manner. Of course Ferrari is an important team...but so is McLaren and a few other teams. Because they're in the sport for so many years. They're an icon in and outside the sport. As for newer teams such as Toyota, Red Bull, Torro Roso, Spyker/Force India...of course no special relationship has been made yet. Give it a few more years and if they succeed, Max would be saying the same thing about them.

I saw two of his ads...the one when he's sleeping with his wife driving the Mercedes and the F1 which Hamilton and Alonso was in. Damn nice vids

yeah, I heard the best time was the rivalry between Michael and Mika. Too bad McLaren were too unreliable in 2001, then he left in 2002.

Enzo is so old...even Michael got the FXX. It should be a new car...at least the 599 GTB Fiorano
