Mclaren had to pay extra for that. steering wheel can not be different for two drivers from the same team lar friend, from different team, yes.

QUOTE(TOYO @ Nov 7 2007, 03:28 PM) different laa bro.. u seen it before but i can't remember where...between mika n dc really ar? in my years watching F1, i never saw a team mate with different steering wheel. It would be illogical in business sense, to make different steering for each driver because one will cost the team almost 100K pounds.

If i remember correctly since the first day i saw Formula 1, it should be 1997 when Bridgestone join. There is another tyre around - not really sure which one but i suppose its either Dunlop or Goodyear...
