5g is overrated.
Good only when you really have good signal and not fake signal.
5g need many more antenna than 4g cos trees and buildings can easily block the signal.

6g is supposed to rectify all 5g weakness..... hopefully...

6g solve or try to solve issue like security and privacy issue

The coverages issue is a physical problem

High frequency is needed to have high bandwidth
But high frequency is bad at transmission distance and solid penetration

Best is buy a prepaid sim and try … but celcom is the best coverage in Msia, if celcom dun have unlikely others will …
Coverage not equal quality … can see 4G doesnt mean can use 4G…

5G coverage by gomen is more extensive than 4G by providers who only concentrate on highly populated areas only. For coverage you need to check websites.

Anecdotal both Celcom & Maxis have better coverage outside big cities.

Don't expect 5G outside big cities.

That is untrue.

Gov MCMC Jendela published telco has 96.92% LTE population coverage in Malaysia while 5G only 55%.

5G now only build target area which already has 4G coverage never go into low populated area as they claimed they will be. Can refer DNB website coverage map.

Building in low populated area is expensive and difficult (based on a statement by some telcos) whoever says will do it is outright lying. If it is true, gov would get DNB to cover the 3.1% gap FIRST before move into populated area with 4G then Msia will be 97% LTE and 3% 5G = Total 100% covered with either 4G/5G.
