Hi Sifu, may I know what Outdoor Membrane Water Filter brand you guys are currently using (for ~1000sft Condo) and recommend?

Me using Nesh. Since 2015. Every morning do the simple flush. Once a month do backwash. Last year wanted to change the membrane, Nesh ppl said if water flow still good, no need to change. So 8 years already.

How long filter membrane been in use / not changed ?
Any old people in your household ?

For condo, where to install those outdoor water filters?

My friend's condo management wouldn't allow any filter installation in the water meter room/chamber citing Air Selangor's regulations. All water filter need to be installed inside the unit compound itself. So he needs to do additional plumbing works inside his unit before installing any outdoor type water filter.

Im using Intact water. so far no issues for the filter aside from the auto timer spoiled and claimed once.

Not all condo can install outdoor filter

i don't think you are allowed to install / tamper with the main water supply pipes on the outside of your unit and you can only install filtration system within the confines of your own unit therefore this means, it is only limited to water for consumption (ie: drinking or cooking).

if your condo all unit within same floor main water supply/meter kept inside PBA/water room

then better check with management see can pasang or not

sometime you pasang big ass water filter ..will kacau other unit


my condo only allow to pasang those "small" punya ; because if not will block/kacau other unit

install there, then all the units in that floor also can benefit from the filter

As the comments above stated, check with condo management and consider installing within your condo unit.
Also its not about the square feet space but how many water users and volume of usage.
