
KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is tracking down a local man with the title “Datuk” to facilitate investigations into a case.
In a statement issued today, the MACC identified the man as Datuk Justin Lim Hwa Tat, 47, whose last known address is at No 54, Jalan SS 22/27 Damansara Jaya, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Lim sits on the board of several public listed companies.
He was redesignated as the chief executive officer of Johor-based Sersol Bhd on June 15, from his earlier role as the managing director, following a change in the company’s corporate structure.
Notably, Lim is also on the board of SMTrack Bhd as an executive director, where he was appointed to the board on Jan 7, 2022.
According to a bourse filing on June 27, Lim resigned from the board of Computer Forms (Malaysia) Bhd as an executive director due to differences in opinion with the management.
Sersol shares stood at 11.5 sen each at the time of writing on Wednesday, down 4.17% from the previous close, giving it a market capitalisation of RM84.12 million.
SMTrack was flat at three sen, with a market value of RM35.75 million.
