Even the original restaurant in BKK uses canned crab meat. The restaurant does sell the can of crab meat if you want to buy it.

What matter is who cooked it. In BKK, Jay Fai still cooks the crab omelette herself. In Malaysia, dunno which chapalang chef cooks it. That's the different, apart from the price which is double of what original restaurant is charging. Hahaha.

Better just fly to BKK to eat it la.

Aiya this Darren Chin-owned restaurant. Tried DC and Bref before, they were OK in the “scratches the itch if you really need to scratch” sense but not particularly pleasurable or memorable. Told myself no third time, so definitely no Gai for me.
