My house (DSL) is doing extension and route new piping for the kitchen and laundry/washing machine area.
Would like to ask is better to route from direct or water tank or both source to the kitchen and laundry area?

I would think thank water tank should be for emergency only kan? So bathroom and toilet only? Laundry if no water still want do? Kitchen, for water dispenser, will bazir right? I see my coway keep flush water out every now and then.

Buy another tangki to collect rain water to use.

kitchen can be both source, direct for normal usage and switch to water tank when there's water cut

laundry can just take from tank, no significant benefit of using the direct supply
