every ID have different ways of charging it.. if pure ID - design & draw plan & 3D for you, without help on consutrction/renovation, those basiically based on sqft/amendment/picture.. some freelance charge based on project (one time fee - doesnt matter how many time amendment).. some charge 400 per view

some ID include contractor, take care all carpentry works, engage & manage other contractors like plumbing, electricians, they might charge you 1 lump sum fee or maybe didnt charge any ID fee.. ID fee are part of the itemized bill in the carpentry works.. usually they get dimension of house, discuss with you about your ideas, give you an quotation.. if you are good, then pay booking fee & proceed for 3D drawing..

there is no standard way on charging clients in my experience.. you need to survey and ask one by one.. tell about your plan based on your 2D floor plan.. and see how they quote you.. proper ID firm will give u itemized billing per item.. (dimension, material, price).. some just give you an overall price for entire project.. << this is a bit risky as you cant estimate which item is most costly to you.. how many plugs? how many light points?

double storey landed, prepare 200k in my opinion.. i am in the midst on discussion to renovate my upcoming new house., so i also doing same research.. but i have ady identified and appointed one firm to help me on this..

nope.. i get ID handle for whole renovation, including design, carpentry, wiring, plumber, painting, wet works.. hmm i think you research your own one.. im from penang btw..
