more of the prepaid plan hard to have data & call bofh cheap , so depend of the usage choose the plan , like me choose 2 sim card in phone , data use pantas cause i data use less , call i use unifi cause call also use less

Yoodo rm5 / 100 mins call
Hotlink rm10/ 5gb data last for 365days . Rm10 reload validity 1 month.

So total damage is just rm15 for 5gb data and 100 min call.

i have register a unifi around Dec2022 , this i want to use as call , because i rarely call .
so i register throw apps : unifi-mobile apps , then choose selfcollect for RM10 , 1st time register have 3GB data .
after getting the card , i topup RM10 , then buy a plan 60min for RM7 , so the call from the plan 60min drop per sec , mean when you made a fast call for 8sec , then your total 60min become 59min52sec .
if without plan , it charge 20cent/min .
so i control the activation needed , FAQ --> active and stay active --> no.4
so after the first register RM10 , then topup RM10 . total i use is RM20 , from dec2022 until total , my line still active . (normally monthly using the data a while , until now still balance 2.8GB)

I am still using Yes prepaid, into my 4 year now.
Strongest inside my house as other telco mostly 1-2 bar and i had to rely on vowifi.

Outside around town with klang valley and occasional outstation main cities and towns, all OK. Only exception is some basements do not work when compared to other telco which at least have 1 bar.

With yes, good to carry another backup sim

Indeed unifi is a good choice for light users. I also have 3 sims parked at unifi with occasional usage. Nowadays the data plan is much cheaper compared to when first started $50 for 8 gb or $30 for 4gb now $18/$10 only

Now XOX prepaid has 36months validity for MNP. Each month can activate minimum 500MB. Minutes are all saved up until you used them. If he used more data then can consider wawa prepaid (also under xox) for RM18/30days, 18gb + 100 minutes. The downside for XOX is no 5G and no VoLTE.

Alternative is Yoodo. RM25 can get 20GB + 100 minutes for 30 days. 5G cost another RM5. It support VoLTE.

One more is Hotlink Pantas. Why? Because the data you bought is valid for 1 year and deducted as you used them. Only downside is call rate is 30sen/minute. Only need to reload RM10 for the line to be active every 30days or pay RM30 for 365days validity.

Not familiar with Digi plan.
