Some OSes I have never heard, like SigmaOS, and certain OS he/she had to rewrite using native language.

So this NDN targets desktop OS for DOS, Windows, KolibriOS, OS/2, HaikuOS, MenuetOS, Solaris and SigmaOS.

What software you can think of that target so many OSes? Me personally has hexdump app targets Windows, DOS, and Linux, but never ever more than 3.

curl? sqlite? chromium? bash? gcc? Go? ffmpeg? qbittorrent?

Just took the first example:
It builds and works identically on many platforms, including AIX, AmigaOS, Android, BeOS, BlackBerry Tablet OS and BlackBerry 10, OpenVMS, Darwin, DOS, FreeBSD, HP-UX, HURD, iOS, IRIX, Linux, macOS, NetBSD, NetWare, OpenBSD, OS/2, QNX Neutrino, RISC OS, Solaris, Symbian, Tru64, Ultrix, UnixWare, and Microsoft Windows.

if you could write in c, you may able to rebuild on different platform.

some languages have multiple platform (cpu, os) compiler,
but rebuilt / recompile on different platform may need to add some predefined macros or modification of source code.
