I use gas hob and another single zone induction cooker for boiling (good for steamboat and soup).

Gas hob is just more versatile, fit all cookware, wok and flat bottom. Better nuance control of heat level.

In my opinion, if you are serious in cooking then get a gas hob.

I put my gas tank under the gas hob.

You can put anywhere you like as long as the gas hose is not near the fire and obstructed.

Do remember to check the gas hose at least once per year.
