A fair opinion..Much welcomed....However, one that is akin to saying buying an AMG A Class Mercedes or an M BMW is unreasonable when a Mazda CX-5 or Tesla Model X offers more value...Chuckled at that last bit. It mainly lies in the user's wants and needs. Take this from someone who has...well has an Acer V Nitro Black Edition currently gathering dust with its lid closed. Gaming on a 17.3" laptop sure is fun and has portability. But you know what it doesn't have? Almost twice (you can go larger if you want) the screen size & resolution my current monitor has...They are also quite heavy to lug around. Sure, got something like the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (Gen8) that weighs a respectable 2.8KG. But what's the price tag on that?
See I get you...truly..and High School me did enjoy lugging around a heavy gaming laptop. But young-old me has a dedicated work PC at the office, a company issued Ultrabook cuz encryption, bla bla for on the move or to bring home. Which when home I definitely hook up to the monitor. And guess how I now switch from work to home stuff.. Unplug the USB-C from the laptop, chuck it into the SER6 Pro 7735HS & push the power button, plug the Logitech USB & gamepad...Headphones on...15 seconds later... Boom!
if this mini PC sold in malaysia about 2.5K
+500 for a Nice screen, Battery, Keyboard & Mobility......
ALSO this Gaming PC can plug into 50 inch TV if you want.....
what i wanted to say is... whatever this MINI PC can do, a Gaming Laptop can do.
but there are so much more the Gaming Laptop can offer..
You can treat this Gaming Laptop as a Mini Desktop.. if you want.
but for about RM500 more, 3050 MaxQ is FAR FAR faster than 680m
