No la, the link you're referring is for the pemohon reference, if you want to know for the developer's requirement you need to dig in. And all of the developers need to follow the requirements accordingly to get their license approved.

Btw I have found the question that I was puzzling. To elaborate the statement of SAMM does not require first home buyer by supporting is to refer back to the project list posted by LPHS, you will see from there. RSKU = Fully residential project & SAMM actually is serviced apartment project, hence if you already own RSKU does not affect you to purchase SAMM unit, but if you owned any serviced apartment unit you will not able to purchase second SAMM (according to the LPHS restrictions. I do saw someone said they own two units from another thread)

aiya...so mafan... instead i ask my sister to proceed other project...even though the absolute price is way higher but psf price still lower than SAMM... SAMM need to fork out a lot of upfront cost compared normal open market project...some big developer like SDP and SP will give free MOT stamp duty....

Personal reason why I'm applying for SAMM unit:

1) I'm looking for smaller property and non-SAMM property that is below 700 sqft (such as SOHO, SOVO) is too expensive.
2) I don't want to take the risk of being possibly burdened by the mortgage in another 10 - 20 years' time if I want to slow down, work less (means earning lesser)
3) For SAMM, it seems like I can enjoy better quality property and facilities as it is shared with other open market units, unlike RSKU which seems to have lesser facilities. Correct me if I'm wrong.
4) Lesser headache if I cannot sell a 250k property compared to a 600k property?

if you still living in Malaysia...really difficult not to work hard until you die cos RM keep depreciating... you need to own at least one property (good one) to hedge inflation...

SAMM is not a good property...cos the value wont appreciate...

is just a temporary shelter for you while in future...your family size and income will increase...so you still need a better place to grow your family...unless you dont want to kahwin and expect to live like now forever...

i bought 500k property 10 years ago...and it appreciate 2x.... i bought another few properties to invest and they generating passive income for me... over the years...my tenants help me to pay mortgages... this is how we hedge inflation...

Gone are the days where property can appreciate 2x.

Now you'll be happy if it just maintains its value.

malaysia property still the cheapest in the world...but unfortunately majority people income also very low... so... work hard to earn more...get money to buy good property...invest in stock market also very risky...
