back in the day, i got citibank just for the buy 1 free 1 gsc ticket. cancelled the card once i was too busy for movies. not sure if they still have this kind of promo. movie tickets are expensive these days.

No disruption as your cc number and cvv number remains the same, you'll get a uob card with the same number but diff cvv number in oct, so you just treat it as a new card.

I believe that's mainly on app/online banking side. I doubt can't use cc whole day la. Worst case scenario KTV/Spa visitors gotta be worried abit la haha.

One reason ayam use them is the convenience of samsung ballet. Now dem inconbenient. Will just use more TnG. Same cc points if reload TnG right?

so with this new migration, i need to make a new one from maybank to UOB #xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx instead?

or can just leave it like tat(citibank)?

no, IIRC, unless your card changed, keep it as-is until they changed your card.
