dude! that's the 1st gen iPod
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61688 should be able to charge using a 6-pin to 6-pin firewire cable. I found those in Digital Mall for less than RM20. Do you have the wall plug adapter? |

okok... I have the cable here. original Apple cable.
gimme a call 03 7724 1334 actually, if you have the cable, you can use the same cable to transfer songs... however, if you're on a Windows PC, may be difficult. this iPod does not use USB to transfer songs. Don't waste your time trying |

i have one of the correct cable 6-pin to 6-pin.
if you have a Windows PC, then you need to have one of these IEEE 1394 aka FireWire ports on your computer. if you have a Mac, FireWire is built in to most Macs from 2001 onwards. I repeat, if you have the full charger set, the cable can be detached and used to connect to your computer. I think, this forum style isn't helping you. if you can drop by MacAsia (AppleCentre) 1 Utama, I can show you. just walk in, ask for Jeyadev. I'll be here till 10.30 tonight... |

QUOTE(carcraze66 @ Oct 23 2007, 10:57 PM) bro, means thats the port that coonect to the USB port of my pc then i connect my iPod cable to that firewire pot??? am i right??? Nononono, the iPod you have it uses FireWire, not USB. I'm just showing you that's the FireWire port which normal Windows machines doesn't have, you have to get a FireWire PCI adapter for your PC if your PC don't have that FireWire port.how much it cost?? For the pricing of the cable, I don't know. Wait for others to answer. The best way is to drop by one of the Apple store and ask them. Is the charger cable you have can be detached? One more thing, I'm not a bro. |
