Old job is having too many politics and got 1 new idiot trying to politic her way to my position.

Old job perks and benefits:

Salary if compare with my moonlighting additional 200-300 per month average)
More annual leave cause I am here for 9 years+.
NO MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR EMPLOYEES
Need pay toll of RM4 per day (to and fro) and much further from my home

New job perks and benefits:
Salary is more than old place but this new place is my moonlighting place, so if I accept, no more moonlighting and lesser average of 200 - 300 income.
Lesser annual leave
HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR CONFIRMED EMPLOYEES
Very near to my home, like 1/2 the distance with no jam and no toll.
Everyone works like a family there (from my 2 years moon lighting with them) and macam very less politicking involved.

Should I take the leap and go?

Wow 9 years+ in the same company? Time to move on.

Look for other company, the new company is not that great either, except it's near your house and no toll.most companies provide medical insurance these days.

What's your current salary? If more than RM10k, then rm200-300 per month difference is not much.

Less than 10k. Probably half of it. I am in a sector where pay isn't high.

Easy choice

If you will be happier with the change, 2-300 is nothing

Lesser travel and jam is one big factor to a work life as well

Life is not just about work and $$$

You decide what kind of life you want

BTW what is moonlighting place

5K for almost 10 years? You gotta jump... that's severely underpaid.

Since your part-time only nets a few hundred bucks a month, the salary bump is way better. What's better is to stick with better paying one(s).

Loyalty ain't paying shit these days.

If the politics is really bad, then just jump to the new company.

For top comment, yes, nets off less than 500 a month extra if I continue part timing with them and not join them.

For lower comment, it's getting very sickening. Not many customers, so the people inside play politics in hopes of getting positions.

The new place is upping their offer to match what I am lacking as they really hope to get me on board, so I am waiting for a revised offer.
