if u need public ip to access it, 5G might be not for u.

I have 1 exact model as well. Only difference is the white box. I couldn't connect to 5G at all, tried with Uhome 5G & YES. Do you mind to share the detailed configuration?

What I have tried so far, changed apn to my3g & yesnet respectively, tried auto switch 5GNSA/4G, 5GSA/NSA/4G, auto & manual band select b28 + n78, have tried all combination, should i give up and stick to LTE

I read some buyer's review on Shopee. Some said need to reset the unit before doing any configuration.
Planning to get this model also, not yet buy.

Unless ur place dai dai need to use digi for good coverage and speed, i don't really see why people would go for this. Rm70 for another 50GB data if ever we finished the 1000GB data is mind boggling too..

Anyone can share is the apn for YES?
I am not quite sure how is the signal in my area. How do you test with phone? Phone always jump to 4G if the 5G signal is weaker right?
Someone should start a "help you test" service. Bring the device to your place for a small fee. At least can be sure before spending so much getting a device.

charge rm50 not enough to cover time and petrol.

charge rm150 then already 25% of the 5G router price, no one will use the service.

Last resort, will find 1 place near to tower, test at outdoor ,
to confirm that 5G functionality is there, but very poor indoor performance OR this thing no longer can do 5G

any recommended external antennas for Deco X50?

I use U home for almost 2 month. it seems sometimes Umobile restrict speed for ftp download (i use seedhost.eu). Ookla speedtest can get 1Gbps, but download speed only can reach around 8mbps. Not happened everyday, but i suspect they purposely restrict it. When I turn on VPN, download speed return to normal which is 1++MBps. If anyone facing the same issue, can share too.
Planning to switch to YES after this.

What vpn do you use? Can put into modem or only vpn limited at device?

There is small switch to select "int" or "ext", did the switch at "int" location?

I use ExpressVPN for my PC only. It's been 2 days now, FTP download speed from seedhost still slow like siput.
I think Umobile block it or something.
