Getting Started

There are many bulk water filtration system. Bacfree is one I see commonly used. It is placed at the incoming pipes after the bulk meter.
It is typically not charged into the monthly maintenance but used from surplus collection of the maintenance fund. If the premises runs on a deficit budget, then it has no money for upgrades or improvement expenses.

But then again because internal piping old already so alot karat too still have to install own purifier for drinking. MC can propose during AGM let resident to vote. Or can just do it if they think water quality is too bad.

Typically, JMB can approve a certain amount of expenditure. Once it exceed the permissible amount the treasurer and chairperson can approve, it has to be tabled in the coming AGM, or call for EGM if a matter requires urgency. In any case, for internal, install one if your piping route and location allows for it or at the very least, one for your kitchen for drinking water or cooking.
