mono sodium glutamate. --- btw this is naturally occurring. And the only problem is Humans found ways to concentrate it and package it so you can over dose.

Just one of many amino acid derived, flavoring. Some say it is "salty" some say it is sweet. some call it Umami.

anyhow, any soup that you taste that is wow so good. pls stop as soon as possible. Dont over consume and you be fine.

The steam boat soup... ever wonder why it taste so freaking good at the end.

Tomato, corn, vegetables, mushrooms, chicken, pork, meat, plus other processed meat balls,,,, are laden with Amino acids that give you the boost in flavor.... umami.

MSG occurs naturally in food like tomato, mushroom, konbu, nori, miso, soya sauce and various seafood.

You want to avoid MSG?

if u know the history of msg, it is just using commercial way to get it. boiled sup tulang for hours to get the msg is too not commercial.

at first top japanese restaurant boycott msg bcuz they think it is unethical, u want msg? then u should boil sup tulang. ajinomoto is curi tulang.

but later on widely accepted worldwide. they even make msg from plant so become halal, vegan friendly.

also, the chinese restaurant syndrome just a made up story by some researchers to test how fake news can affect the public.

Japan ramen broth is made by boiling the pig bones for many hours till the bone disintegrates into the broth, so msg is not really needed
