Sushi Zanmai is still the golden benchmark for sushi chains in Malaysia. Decent taste,  reasonable price, and accessible. That's why they always have long queues during weekends.

Genki Sushi is actually aggressively expanding since coming out of Covid Lockdowns. The quality of their food is much better than Sushi Zanmai, but the price is also higher than most affordable Sushi chains. You get what you pay for.

Sushi King =Cheap and not good

Sushi Mentai = Cheap but ok
The rest of the "Sushi X " chains have disappeared or are failing.
