QUOTE(Bafflinbook @ Jun 19 2023, 01:51 PM) Sushi Zanmai is still the golden benchmark for sushi chains in Malaysia. Decent taste, reasonable price, and accessible. That's why they always have long queues during weekends. For me, currently Shin Zushi is the best. Genki Sushi is actually aggressively expanding since coming out of Covid Lockdowns. The quality of their food is much better than Sushi Zanmai, but the price is also higher than most affordable Sushi chains. You get what you pay for. Sushi King =Cheap and not good Sushi Mentai = Cheap but ok The rest of the "Sushi X " chains have disappeared or are failing. They have 3 branches so far, SS2, Bukit Jalil and Taipan, but all of them always have queues sheldonyong and dogbert_chew liked this post

QUOTE(No Wear Mask @ Jun 19 2023, 01:33 PM) Because halal sushi sucks. since when sushi tei is halal? This ST was quite decent when it first started without the halal cert. Once get halal cert all went to shit. What to do, have to get from same source as Sushi King ma. All drop quality, all become shithole. This the cibainess of non muslims doing food business in racist&relgiious Malaysia. |

Japanese food and culture doesn't blend well with majority in Malaysia.
Bon Odori they say is not compatible to their Middle Eastern culture and ways since it is to pay tribute to the Japanese ancestors Food lots of them utilize sake in their recipes, and beer is popular with almost every Japanese meal. So what culture is compatible with Malaysian majority? Middle Eastern culture? and as LKY said before Hinduism and Taoism/Confucius teachings have been comforting faiths for India and China for thousands of years. This middle east religionists wants China and India to kowtow to them and disown their own cultures/ways/Gods by calling them masters? That's cuckoldry and insulting. |
