Working for Tesla as a sales advisor is easy money.

It sells itself with little to no marketing, everything is done online through website and app, and come delivery day, all they do is walk you to your car, pair your phone and you’re free to go.

No need hard sell, deal with tyre kickers and cheapos who ask for free umbrella.

Sales positions need to have very well versed and fluent speech to convince the interviewer. Not easy even if you're a conventional car salesman with many years of experience how many people are convincing EV tech experts?

You don't really need useless degrees but a smooth talker and very good knowledge in EVs.

Yes maybe try to give a speech or talk about EVs in Tamil or Hokkien to the interviewer. That'll impress them more than anything else.

Dont even need convincing, the product sells for itself, they dont even take manual orders everything is done online. Salesmen are only there to help with loan application and preparing car for delivery

Basically most of their staff will be similar to BMW Genius staff when you collect your BMW.

By the way Merc MBM is going the same way as well. hap Seng is pioneering Tesla sales model where u will just book the car online and collect the car on the day itself , skipping the sales advisor

Actually it is pretty crazy when you dont have enough manpower to handle such crowd. I wonder how many interviewers they have inside there. And how many people actually filter the resumes before allowing the candidates to enter the hall.

Usually, the open interviews about getting the numbers. Cause higher number ppl come, more right ppl will come too.

At the reception desk, the frontliners must be good enough to filter the right person for the interviewers to interview. Means, typically the frontliners only have like seconds to 1 minute to filter.

Some maybe earlier shortlisted online and asked to come for interview.

If there is no quick filtering, nasib malang la need to wait till interview, then get rejected by the interviewers.

After being a manager myself, i noticed it is better to hire someone you know who can get the job done and will listen to every of your commands. Rather than gamble on someone who might be too "independant".

The best candidate on papaer might not be the best candidate for the manager.
