He could flee to NZ means he is still holding millions in assets, but don't want to go bankrupt and want to continue to live luxurious life somewhere else. Now become stateless already just go buy a boat and sail away and live in open sea. His family will bring him supplies from time to time.

QUOTE(70U63 @ Jun 17 2023, 10:17 AM) It is funny that Malaysia is a very religious and conservative society/country. The cure for that is to have financial discipline and long term planning actually. At the end, only desperate people with desperate needs allow such industry to flourish. Normal people will not borrow money from loan shark just for fun. Without desperate people, loan shark will go extinct naturally.Yet for decades, we (gov and the people) allow this 'illegal' industry to survive and flourish... Inb4, we all love fast/quick money, who care about moral and religion when it come to money... But in this case, there is obviously money game element as well. People wants easy money with large and quick gain, hence falls prey to JJPTR kind of scam. This post has been edited by vhs: Jun 17 2023, 10:26 AM |
