It’s not impossible. He just has less options - either opt for way older development or a smaller size unit. Good thing is that maintenance is generally good and even older units will have rental that outpace new units at the same price in capalang locations.

Comparison is the thief of joy. If the cosmopolitan lifestyle appeals to you and the location is convenient enough for your day to day then why not? MK is quite good in that regard as there are multiple price points for tenants and owners. Market for investment and own stay is solid.

Or would you rather be in the prettiest building in the middle of nowhere? I know which I’d pick.

I’d say look at those on Jalan Kiara 3 near the Malay kampung. You’ll get the size for the price you offer but buyer beware. If you want a better location then opt for a smaller unit.
