the G15s u see in this thread is the G15 V1.

the ones u see with the orange light are the V2.

the V1 has been out of production for quite some time now so u wont be able to buy it anymore unless u find some really old stock.

u can still use the G15 with a laptop if u want to oso anyway....

ermm..im going to mod and my spray my keyboard too..

do i need to sand my keyboard before spray on it? how many layer of paint i need to spray?

anyone please reply me ASAP, im going to start my work tmr, i've alrdy 'decomposed' my keyboard and clean it laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

sand it to get a smooth surface...
how many layer of paint depends on how many u want... more layer= thicker the paint= harder to put in the key=key press no syiok....
careful with the LCD cable when removing the top part... cable koyak = automatic downgrade G15 to G11...

i sprayed clear coat to protect the paint job..

dry or wet, u can do it either way... up to u... but if wet, u need to dry it out b4 spraying it..

i've started to srpay the 1st layer...btw, if i go to hardware shop, how to tell then that i want to get a clear coat?

u need guts to do it le...prozzz.....hey about the spray...can i get it from a hardware shop?? the one used to spray motorcycle parts ahh?? and how about the clear coat...i just ask him clear coat??...could anyone give me the name or brand or the paint...thx...

just go to any hardware shop and buy any RM5 spray

same goes for the clear coat....some call it lacquer.. some call it clear spray

Added on January 21, 2009, 9:51 amthe stealth bomber colour is amazing...does it have any mixture of 3 or 4 colours...could u explain a bit more about the awesome colour...i wan to paint my keyboard as well...lol RM 50 k/b only ....
