I switch over from Maxis, together with 4 family sublines.

I subscribed to the postpaid 90 plan (with 50 GB of data)

Being new to the digi postpaid plan, I am totally unaware that my internet data is being shared by DEFAULT to all the family sublines. (while the family sublines internet is never used). Isnt this common sense, by default, no sharing of internet data. Only when users depleted the data, only can the users tap to the main line pool. but NO, this is how DIGI works, and its a way to drain the principal internet pool. what a dirty tactic here.

this goes on until my internet data pool goes to zero, i am forced to buy internet data.

When I check with the agent, they said, this is normal. u need to stop sharing the internet, and it will take effect the 2nd month onwards.

meanwhile I call the digi service agent to stop sharing all my data prior to the data pool reset. now for the 2nd month, the same thing happen again. all my family sucks up my data and I have no way to stop sharing.

can I complain to MCMC ?

So I made a complain to DIGI, and they are troubleshooting the issue. i.e. why my data is still being shared despite the call to stop all the sharing. also the customer service will replenish all my lost data.

for the effort, i hav revise the thread.

strangely it does not work on my app. the service centre ask me to tune the sharing to 0.1GB for each subline (becos they said can not go down to zero, wtf). after I done it, it goes back to 100%.

its a strange technical fault which DIGI is looking into it.

The digi app is kinda crap. Errors out and sometimes have to relogin.

Try not to set too many data sharing parameters at one go. Login change first family line to 0.1GB. Click ok and exit. Then do the next family line and repeat the steps.

I have 3 sub lines and this is what I’ve done to prevent them from eating up all my data.
