Hi dog lovers,

i need help. I adopted a puppy for nearly half year already and prevoiusly the puppy was inside my house but since he has already grown up now, I no longer allow him to stay indoor and he is at my front porch area now. I have a small lawn area and previously I planted pearl grass but now almost all died already because my dog pee haha...

So now my dog loves to dig and really gives me headache, basically i need to sweep my front porch area once or twice a day, or maybe more. I have tried to discipline him but I am not around all the time so usually my discipline happen after he dig so i think it's not working. i cannot monitor and only discipline him when he is digging.

Anyway, above is out of topic. My main topic or help needed here is anyone got recommendations for fake grass to install for dog so they cannot dig anymore? are all fake grass the same? So far i ask briefly, seems like i need to decide on the grass length only. But was never told if there are different quality or those who can withstand dog digging and damaging the fake grass. I tried to google, most article says can work for dogs. and should be able to last long.

Just wondering if any other dog owners here have fake grass installed and can share experience.

yeah you can buy and install any fake grass.Better high quality smoother will be ok..They will get used to using it..if not..there are sprays in pet stores to get them to do their business there

Your dog might be bored, that's why he's digging. Even if you install fake grass, he might still continue to destroy whatever is in your porch. The best solution is to walk the dog or play enough to tire him/her out.
