I'm told by my developer that I bought a house from, that VP is in a month's time. I am looking to engage an ID for renovation. However, I'm not sure how the discussion should go when asking for quotation to compare prices. Some that I've asked seemed to want me to lock/book with them because they would ge occupied if I'm late. But I do want to get a quote before I do that. Is this common? Is there no room to compare quotation before committing for a company before VP is given?
